Sign language 'turned into text' by Aberdeen scientists
Facinating
Technology aimed at translating sign language into text is being developed by Aberdeen scientists.
The portable sign language translator (PSLT) would use the camera on devices such as laptops and phones.
An app would then translate the movements into text which can be read by people, who may not understand sign language.

I think this talk should be look at though the lens of education. How can we look at education as an ecosystem? How can we look at making school/learning fun and engaging by design? How can we make education human scale and human centered?
Sustainability is often a concern in education. I like the design challenge of thinking about ways to improve education quality and make it more sustainable.

I am an educator who is always finding new ways to learn. My most recent endeavors have been exploring the world of Blended Learning and this new concepts of flipping the classroom. I have spent time in classrooms, and working on a few different projects and have been interacting with all kinds of people working and creating in the ed tech field.
